Facilities

The White Fox only has one guest room so YOU are our only guest/s.

The guest bedroom has a superior comfort queen size flexible slat bed, quality linen, electric blankets and TV.

A single pull-out bed is available which is suitable for some guests who prefer a twin option or alternatively a couple traveling with a child.

The modern ensuite includes toiletries and a hairdryer.

Your room is serviced daily.

Our “Continental Plus” breakfast includes four choices of cereal, fresh fruit, tinned fruit, thick and creamy yoghurt, orange juice, home-baked bread of your choice, toast spreads plus eggs cooked to your liking.

We offer a range of teas and good quality coffee. Awake to the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread and if you want, linger over a strong espresso or a creamy latte.

Tea, coffee, juice, cookies and carrot or chocolate cake are always available to our guests.

The house is sunny and warm and in cooler weather is kept cosy with a heat pump, wood fire and environmentally friendly panel heaters in the bedrooms.

Email and Broadband Internet (not WIFI sorry) are available inclusive of the tariff.

Our guests are more than welcome to take advantage of our spacious outside deck area which overlooks Westland National Park.  Hopefully the weather will be good enough for you to relax in the sun at our picnic table and catch up on your reading or postcards or enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

Laundry facilities are available (a small donation to Meghan and Isla's "piggy banks" accepted).

We can provide plenty of itinerary planning prior to your arrival and book any activities locally for you.

As a local agent we can book your scenic helicopter flight at a discounted rate.

We are only a matter of 400 metres from the main "hub" of our small village.  Stroll or drive down to the cafes, restaurants, Fox Glacier Guiding, helicopter offices, general store and service station.

However we are far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of our small residental area located next to Westland National Park bush.
