We share our warm and sunny home with our two daughters, Meghan (8) and Isla (6), Jess and Tussock the Border Collie dogs and Irish the tabby cat.

 

Our home is in a quiet residential area, only a short stroll to the amenities of the village and a 5 kilometre drive to the Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson carparks.

 

We enjoy a peaceful Westland National Park bush outlook combined with a central and easy to find location.


Wake to the aroma of freshly made bread which is part of your generous "Continental Plus" breakfast served at the breakfast table with your host/s.

 

 

Gary is a 4th generation Fox Glacier local from a farming family and currently works for the Department of Conservation... there isn't much he doesn't know about the area.


Jane was born in the UK and grew up in Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Canterbury (in Christchurch) she made the move to Fox Glacier and met Gary. She has worked extensively in the hospitality and tourism industry.  She has recently worked for the Glacier Country Tourism Group helping to market this wonderful region to the world so she can give you heaps of information about the area. 

 

She currently works as Accounts Manager for Fox Glacier Guiding so can give you heaps of information about the full range of glacier walk options AND she can make your guided walk booking/s for you.
